So...you have magic but only the bad kind? That hardly seems fair. [Not that she's expected life to be fair, not for a good many years now, but still--if you're gonna have magic you ought to at least be able to have some fun with it.]
I don't notice the specific stars so much but I do miss a normal sky. I miss seeing a normal sunset. I miss seeing a horizon.
